**A standalone romance inspired by the classic film, Roman Holiday.**

I never believed in fairy-tales.

Never held out for Prince Charming.

Growing up poor in small-town California as the oldest of six siblings, I knew I would never ride off into the sunset with anyone. That was even more apparent when a senseless tragedy took the lives of my parents, forcing me to become the sole guardian of our dysfunctional household at the mere age of twenty-three.

Then a fateful encounter literally brought Prince Charming to my doorstep.

At first I thought Viktor was just your average businessman passing through, albeit obscenely handsome, six-foot-five, blue-eyed, and mysteriously rich.

But soon I discovered the truth behind Viktor’s façade.

Beneath his quiet, enigmatic gaze and cocky charm, is a man who is running away from who he really is. A role he’d rather not fulfill.

He is Viktor of House Nordin, His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Sweden.

Yet uncovering Viktor’s secret was only the first step.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with him.

I didn’t expect to have my whole life turned upside down.

When you’re from two different worlds, can your hearts meet somewhere in the middle?

Or do happily-ever-afters only exist in fairy-tales?

The Swedish Prince, an all-new emotional standalone by Karina Halle is now LIVE!

The Swedish Prince is emotional, sweet, heartwarming, sexy, and funny.

Karina Halle takes a theme that’s been written time and again, giving it modern makeover.  This beautiful love story is really about family, the struggles of heartbreaking circumstances, and the reminder that love really can conquer all.

I could not put this book down.  It’s been a while since I’ve said that so emphatically.  I was up all-night reading, happily I might add.  There was no rush to finish.  I just couldn’t stop, I needed to know that Viktor and Maggie would make it.

The Swedish Prince is about just that, Swedish Prince Viktor of House Nordin and Maggie McPherson of Tehachapi, California.  Their meeting one another was hilarious, call it fate, chance, destiny, whatever you call it, it was definitely memorable and totally set the tone for the entire book. Both characters are searching for something more, not knowing what that is. I love those stories where you have characters that need some sort of closure and find that in falling in love.  Seeing themselves through someone else’s eyes.  Chemistry helps too and boy do these two have it in spades.  This story is seriously hot, as in HAWT, but it’s also charming too!

“Hurdy-schmerdy bork bork!”

One of my most favorite parts of the book are the scenes with Maggie’s little brother Callum.  He brings levity and light to this story which just adds to its beauty.  All of Maggie’s siblings (Pike, April, Rosemary, Thyme, and Callum) are integral, in helping to capture who Maggie is.  I wouldn’t mind a Pike story…just saying…

There is no denying that I love Ms. Halle’s writing.  It had just enough of everything you look for in a romance.  With all the ups and downs, there’s this perfect balance of seriousness, love, light, laughter, and living life to its fullest.

The Swedish Prince is a must-read for any lover of romance.
