Wow wow wow!
My heart is so heavy and full and just bursting. Enraptured by Ginger Voight was nothing and yet everything I had hoped. There were so many twists and turns and this story was exactly as it’s title in the series a SAGA. I felt like I was reading about the Carrington’s from Dynasty.
Enraptured picks up right where we left off in Entangled. I don’t want to give too much away but if you’ve read the first 2 books you’ll understand. Rachel has married Drew and is expecting their first child. Alex is moody and broody as always. Jonathon is on cloud nine. Rachel is struggling with her decisions and Drew is well….Drew.
This book was full of surprises and lots of shocking moments. I had my heart set to go in a certain direction and I kid you not I switched my feelings probably 10 different times. In the end I was left holding my heart sobbing. I thought I was happy and maybe I was but definitely not happy with what Drew would call the “collateral damage.”
Never have I read a story where I thought I knew what I wanted only to have the author yank my chain and make me change my mind so many times.
Then when everything explodes and secrets started coming out. Well cue the waterworks. I can’t even tell you how many time I teared up. Or how many times those tears spilled over. The last 20% were so incredibly difficult. A scene in particular hit way way way too close to home. There was no way even on a great day that I wouldn’t have cried and been emotional during that scene. Just broke my heart.
Enraptured was everything I hoped for. I was slightly disenchanted with Rachel in Enticed and with good reason. But she really comes around in this book and I was fully committed right along with her. I found myself reading with so much anticipation that I didn’t even eat and my coffee went cold. I devoured this story because I had no choice. Ginger weaves quite the web and I was happily caught in it while it lasted. Even after all the fall out and all my tears I was happy at the end. I was happy with the way the story concluded. Although, I’m going to hold out hope that someday we can get Jonathon’s story. His adult story of course. I would really like to know how this family grows.
So please Ginger throw me a bone and write me Jonathon’s story, please!!
